2. Group activities (open to the public)

Group activities are those open to the public and bookable by individuals or groups by purchasing a ticket for each participant. Participation in group activities may be limited to a minimum and maximum number, fitness level, equipment or age restrictions, which will all be clearly outlined and agreed upon during the booking process.

2.1 Payment for bookings of group activities (open to the public)

Tickets, the cost of which is specified to participate in each single activity, can be purchased through go-comida.com website or, if still available, in person upon the start of the activity. To correctly complete the booking, it will be necessary to specify name, surname, city of residency and tax code of the booking person; this is a legal requirement to be able to issue the invoice. An e-mail address will also be required to receive the booking confirmation. This data will be used in accordance with the European Regulation 679/2016 and for the sole purpose of booking. The information will not be passed on to third parties without the written consent of the Customer.

2.2 Cancellation of bookings of group activities (open to the public)

Go-Comida reserves the right to cancel a scheduled activity in the event of forecasted adverse weather or for other reasons at its sole discretion. In this case, Clients who have booked and purchased the relevant tickets on go-comida.com website, will be refunded for the full-face value of each ticket purchased. The Client will not be entitled to any other compensation for any damage or additional costs the cancellation may have caused them. All reservations can be cancelled by the Client up to 7 (seven) days before the start of the activity, by requesting a refund through your booking confirmation or via email to info@go-comida.com. The reimbursement, through the same method used at the time of booking, will amount to the full-face value of each ticket minus a small fee to cover administrative costs. Any reservation cancelled by the Client with less than 7 (seven) days’ notice will not receive any refund.

3. Private activities (NOT open to the public)

Private activities are those activities whose participation is reserved to the Client (and their group) who will make the reservation by paying the relative cost. Participation in activities may be subject to limitations (e.g. minimum and maximum number of participants, fitness level, equipment, age, etc.), which will all be clearly outlined and agreed upon during the booking process. Other individuals or groups not part of the Client’s group will NOT be permitted to participate in these activities.

3.1 Payment to book private activities (NOT open to the public)

A confirmation deposit of 50% (fifty percent) of the total amount must be paid via bank transfer within 14 days of agreement of Terms and Conditions, or other time frame agreed in writing, in order to confirm the booking. Dates will not be held if the confirmation deposit has not been received.
The balance (remaining 50%) must be paid by bank transfer 7 days before the single event or 30 days before the first of 3+ consecutive days events. Failure to pay the balance in accordance with these terms entitles Go-Comida to cancel the booking and retain the deposit paid.
Bookings made for events with less than seven days’ notice (or 30 days in case of 3+ days events) will require full payment at the time of booking.
Payment amounts are in Euro. Bank details will be provided with the confirmed details of the agreed event. Details of the Client, including but not limited to Tax Reference number (Fiscal Code for Italians, National Insurance Number for British citizens or equivalent reference for other nationalities), corresponding name, postal address, e-mail and telephone number may be required in order to process the payment of the confirmation deposit and balance. This data will be used in accordance with European Regulation 679/2016 and used only for the purposes of the booking. Information will not be passed on to third parties without the written consent of the Client.

3.2 Cancellation of an event

In case of single events: for cancellations made up to 30 (thirty) days before the single event, the Client will be entitled to a refund of the deposit paid, minus a small administrative fee; for cancellations made with less than 7 (seven) days before the single event, the Client will be liable to pay the full amount of their booking (balance included).

In case of multiple consecutive events (3 days or more): for cancellations made up to 180 (one hundred and eighty) days before the first event’s date, the Client will be entitled to a refund of the deposit paid, minus a small administrative fee; for cancellations made between 180 (one hundred and eighty) and 30 (thirty) days before the first event’s date, the Client will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the deposit paid; for cancellations made with less than 30 (thirty) days before the first event’s date, the Client will be liable to pay the full amount of their booking (balance included).

In the case of bad weather Go-Comida will make the final decision as to the suitability of conditions. Events will only be cancelled due to weather if safety would be compromised. Where possible, all reasonable efforts to propose a suitable alternative route, activity or date will be made to the Client. If the Client is unable or chooses not to accept the alternative event or date, a refund equal to half of the total amount referable to the cancelled event will be recognised. Go-Comida will not be held responsible for any incidental expenses the Client or any parties incurs arising from the amendment or cancellation of an event.
Go-Comida reserves the right to cancel any event without notice, in which case a full refund will be provided for the price paid. The Client will have no right to be refunded for any damage or further cost the cancellation may have caused them in the meanwhile apart from the face value of each ticket.

4. Changes to itinerary

If the Client needs to amend their event itinerary, Go-Comida will do their best to accommodate the Client’s needs. All requests for amendments must be made in writing by email to info@go-comida.com. The more notice the Client provides, the more likely it is that Go-Comida will be able to accommodate requests to change an itinerary. The deposit payment made secures the reservation and will be dealt with in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The deposit is not transferable to any other reservation requests without explicit agreement in writing from Go-Comida. If the requested amendment to an itinerary requires a significant investment of organisational time, Go-Comida reserves the right to charge a service fee of up to 50 euro per person. Please note this payment may be charged even if the changes were not successful.
Should Go-Comida have to make changes to the itinerary the Client will be informed in writing as soon as possible and all reasonable efforts will be made to propose suitable alternative arrangements. No refunds will be paid to Clients who do not complete an event, choose to abandon the event, or do not take up the services arranged.
There will be no extra charges to the agreed fees, unless extra services are requested prior to or during the event. The acceptance of such requests are at the discretion of Go-Comida and will be charged at a suitable rate which will be quoted at the time of the request. These extras must be paid for in advance of the event or at the end of the event if requested during the event itself.

5. Information Accuracy

Go-Comida always tries to provide an accurate and honest description of what is offered, however, if you find anything lacking please let us know so that we can put it right as soon as possible. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all information provided on securing a booking is correct regarding dates, times and addresses. Go-Comida will not be held responsible for any loss, damages, costs, expenses or other claims arising as a result of incorrect information.

6. Partner

Where Partners are used to provide other types of service (e.g. transportation), this will be clearly indicated within the booking confirmation. Go-Comida is able to assist the Client to secure preferential rates for local accommodation, travel providers and restaurants. When services are provided by a Partner, the Client may have to pay the Partner directly. In which case, the Client will be subject to the Partner’s Terms and Conditions regarding payment, amendments and cancellations.

7. Exclusions

Bookings exclude the cost of insurance, entrance fees (museums, national parks, etc.), food and water, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.

8. Insurance

Medical insurance is compulsory. The Client warrants that each person named in the party has appropriate insurance.
The Client is wholly responsible for arranging insurance with adequate protection for the full duration of the holiday in respect of at least medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailments, and liability cover. The Client should ensure that there are no exclusion clauses limiting protection for the type of activities included in the event. Before embarking on an event, Go-Comida reserves the right to require a photocopy (including the name and contact details of the insurance company and your policy number) of any insurance policy. Any party with inadequate insurance may not be permitted to participate in the event.
We also advise all parties arriving from Countries part of the European Union to carry a current European Health Insurance Card, which is available at your local Post Office and is recognized in Italy. Please note that some travel insurances have “weather insurance” so please check your policy for details.

9. Liability

Participation in some activities involves the assumption of some risks, dangers, hazards and liabilities to all parties and other participants. These risks include, but are not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, expense and other such loss, delay and inconvenience. Notwithstanding these risks, all parties are reminded that they voluntarily assume all risk of such injury, illness, death, property damage and/or loss that may result from their participation in our activities and in any travel associated with any activity. Payment for the activity confirms all parties assume these risks, dangers, hazards and liabilities to themselves and other participants. It is essential that all parties agree to abide by all applicable rules and regulations of the event, and all instructions received from their guide or activity leader while participating in the activity. Non-compliance may result in exclusion from the event and forfeiture of the event fees. Go-Comida accepts no responsibility for any acts, or the acts of others while the parties are participating in and traveling in connection with any activity.
