Taccu Isàra is a great example of how nature can shape itself with its tools: rain, wind, heat and cold. This area is full of history with remains of human settlements dating back over 3000 years. Beautiful views and scenery will take us through Oak and Yew forests via the tracks that are the evidence of the hard work of charcoal producers during the past centuries.
Unlike the coastal areas of Ogliastra, the “Tacchi” (which means shoes’ heels) valley benefits from a good presence of water springs that contribute to make its landscapes even more evocative.
