Wine and Food Experiences – Go-Comida Tourist and Guiding Services and Rooms

Food and Wine are two of the greatest pleasures in Sardinia.

Ever tried a punchy Cannonau? How about a fruity Vermentino? An Orange wine?

Now is your chance!

Sardinian wines are not exported in great numbers and as a result, are not widely known. However, the climate and terroir can create, along with the winemakers’ skills, highly enjoyable wines. The range of varieties is wide as it is the range of producers (over a hundred). This means it is possible to stretch from red to white, from rosé to orange wines, sweet or dry, still or sparkling.

We have had the pleasure to explore various areas to find some of the best, family-run vineyards as well as the larger-scale producers. We work with people who share our own passion and culture for wine that will take us for a walk in the vineyards and a visit in the wine cellars where the wise art of the winemakers transforms the products of the fields in the perfect match for our tables.

During spring it will be possible to see the grapes forming which will mature during August just in time to be harvested at the end of summer or the first days of autumn. You will get to know how the land is cared for, the vines nurtured and the grapes harvested. Perhaps, if the timing is right, you can even help with the process!

If you would like to spend a day tasting, we can select vineyards which will show you the different sides of the wines.

If you would prefer to end a day of sightseeing or hiking with a simple tasting in a vineyard, we will happily add that to the end of your day with us.

Want to discover Sardinian seasonal produce full of flavour, how cheese, homemade pasta, bread or olive oil is made?

Depending on the time of year it may be possible to arrange a visit to the orchard to help pick juicy oranges, olives or peaches. Or perhaps a visit to the shepherds to see how they make the cheese? Or perhaps visit a Sardinian home to make your own pasta or bread.
