English and Italian Speaking Pilates and Yoga in Ogliastra

Juliet is a fully qualified Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.  Originally from the UK, Juliet now lives in Tortolì.  She is able to offer treatments and private or group Pilates sessions for tourists, retreats and local residents.  Pilates classes are available in English and Italian.

Suitable for beginners to advanced

What could be better than to return from holiday feeling fully rejuvenated, more supple and stronger?  Pilates is an exercise suitable for any level of fitness and ability.  Do not worry if you have never tried Pilates before, Juliet will be able to teach you the basics and get you started.  If you regularly do Pilates at home, continue and improve on holiday with some one-to-one tuition.  Why not join Juliet for a pre-breakfast warm up for the day with a gentle session in our courtyard.  Alternatively we can head to the beach or countryside to complete our session surrounded by nature.  Juliet currently provides mat-based Pilates using small equipment such as resistance bands, balls and magic circles.  Pilates has been shown to be effective in helping people resolve common aches and pains, such as back, neck and shoulder pain.  Exercises can be adapted to prevent exacerbation of any underlying conditions using a variety of postures including standing, sitting and lying.  As a Physiotherapist, Juliet has the knowledge and experience required to keep you safe.  Juliet often uses Pilates exercises as a treatment for her clients as she has seen the benefits over many years.  You too could experience the improvements in your posture and a reduction in the common aches and pains we put down to our lifestyles.

Yoga

We also have links with Yoga instructors here in Ogliastra who are able to deliver classes in English or Italian.  Classes can take place in a range of places, including some specially designed Yoga Yurts situated in the hills near by.
