The Tacchi (heels) are spikes of limestone; the remaining part following a long erosion process (karst) that began millions of years ago. Of all the Tacchi present in the territory of Ogliastra, also called Tonneri in the south-western area, Perda Liana is certainly the most characteristic. Perda Liana rises up to 1293 m asl and offers visitors breathtaking views. This hike will also take us to visit another peak, called Pitzu Margiani Pubusa (Peak of fox and hoopoe), from the top of which, at 1324 m asl, it is possible to admire the fascinating mountains of the heart of Sardinia, from the near Gennargentu up to the Barbagia di Seulo.
